The online application process for CTET 2018 will commence from June 22 and candidates can submit their applications and pay the exam fee till July 21, 2018.
 

 
 

CTET 2018 will be organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 16th September 2018 in around 92 cities across the country. As per a notification released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), the notification for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be released on 12th June 2018, which will comprise detailed syllabus, eligibility criteria and the exam pattern besides other important information.
 
The online application process will commence from 22nd June and candidates can submit their applications and pay the exam fee till 21st July 2018.
 
As per RTE Act, it is mandatory for candidates to be CTET Qualified to be able to apply for Central Government and State Government Schools. Besides government schools, private schools in India too give preference to CTET or State TET qualified teachers.
 
Candidates keen on getting CTET Qualified, must keep a tab on the official website of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) - ctet.nic.in, to stay up to date with the application process and exam schedule.
 
There would be two Papers for CTET for which candidates can apply according to their qualification and mastery of the subjects concerned. Paper 1 is for teachers who can teach classes from 1 to 5, while Paper 2 should be applied by those who can teach classes 6 to 8.
