Movies, Music and Sitcom

Leaving all criticism aside, Veere Di Wedding has turned out to be a glamorous film.

Each of the ladies in the movie-Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania looked gorgeous in some of the most graceful and quirky outfits, thus giving us fashion goals.

If you have been swooning over the wonderful looks from the movie, it's because of the effort put in by ace designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for making each of the actors look so good.

Take a look at Kareena's unique wedding dress in the film, for instance. The actress looked pretty in an off-shoulder, embellished, yellow lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

Kareena's wedding attire in the movie might look quite trendy but it is actually a vintage garment that was made 25 years ago, revealed Sandeep on social media.

In a story shared on social media, Sandeep explained, ''Veere's wedding garment is actually a vintage garment of Abu Sandeep. It's something that we made 25 years ago. It was lying in our coffers...Rhea came to the factory and we started digging out a whole trunk and and taking out old pieces. So then, we just reinvented it. The skirt remains the same. The blouse remains pretty much the same. Of course, it was altered to Kareena's size. Then we created a dupatta and just modernised it slightly. At the wedding time (in the movie), everybody is in AJSK vintage, which is great fun.''

From teaching us how to pair a denim jacket with a lehenga to wooing us with some dazzling dresses that the actresses wore in the film, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla has really impressed everyone with their superior sartorial sense.

Sonam Kapoor also revealed her favourite look from the movie on social media.

Speaking about her character in the film, Avni, she said, ''Avni is a very conservative dresser but she likes to be a little sexy but internally...From the inside she is a little wild. My favourite look is the look that I wore for Kalindi's sangeet which is a pink Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga.''
