When a dog became a mother to Bengal Tiger cubs in Germany

A dog in northern Germany is once again going up against the part of surrogate parent to a major feline, this time raising a couple of rejected Bengal tiger cubs.
Leon, a six-year old pointer mix, is helping his proprietor, zoo attendant Jeannette Wurms, raise one-month old Peach and Pearl at home after the cubs were dismisses by their mom at Safari park Stukenbrock close to the town of Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock.
"What's excellent about (Leon) is that he is a male with such protective impulses which are extremely checked," Wurms, who hand bolsters the fledglings, said on Monday.
"He likewise goes about as their performer and that is surely uncommon."
Wurms said Leon beforehand brought a white lion up in 2012.
The unordinary appropriation won't keep going long, however, with Wurms cautioning that the tigers can respond with startling savagery when they become more established.
