Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to mesmerise his fans once again with his next big release ‘ Kaala’. The makers have now released the theatrical trailer of the film, taking the hype around the Thalaivar starrer a notch up.

Going by the trailer, ‘Kaala’ looks like it is an out-and-out ‘Thalaivar’ show. The trailer begins with Nana Patekar, who wants to wipe out the slums of Dharavi, followed by the mass introduction scene of Rajinikanth, who is said to be fighting for the rights of Tamils. One of the major highlights of the trailer is obviously Rajinikanth’s majestic screen presence.
The trailer also shows Rajinikanth’s candid moments with Huma Qureshi and Eswari Rao. Though it doesn’t reveal much of the story, it’s safe to say that ‘Kaala’ is very likely to strike the right chord with the audiences.
Set in Dharavi, ‘Kaala’ is tipped to be a gangster drama that will see Rajinikanth playing the role of a gangster named Kaala Karikalan. Veteran actor Nana Patekar has been roped in to play the main antagonist named Hari Dada, a powerful politician. Like Ranjith’s previous films, ‘Kaala’ will also have a strong political message.
Produced by Dhanush’s home production Wunderbar Films, the film stars Huma Qureshi, Eswari Rao, Samuthirakani and Anjali Patil in supporting roles. ‘Kaala’ has music by Santhosh Narayanan, who is working with Rajinikanth for the second time.
