More than Deepika and Ranveer, fans are excited about their (DeepVeer – as the couple is lovingly called) wedding. If the reports are to be believed their (fans) wish might come true as according to a report in a leading online portal, the couple is all set to tie the knot in the next 3-4 months.
Yes, you read that right. Reports suggest that Ranveer and Deepika’s parents have apparently decided on a wedding date that’s in the coming three to four months. The reports further suggest that last week, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone travelled from Bengaluru to Mumbai to meet Ranveer’s family to lock in the wedding date. Reportedly, the family had a discussion at Deepika’s Prabhadevi residence in Mumbai, followed by a dinner outing at Four Seasons in Worli.
In a statement to an online portal, a source revealed, “The wedding will take place as per South Indian rituals and high profile venues such as Taj Lands End, Four Seasons and St Regis are being considered as the venue. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a grand reception.”
According to the website, just like the Bollywood power couple Virushka (Virat and Anushka), DeepVeer too wishes to have a destination wedding away from the media glare but on the other hand, Ranveer’s parents want them to get hitched in Mumbai as their relatives are based in Mumbai and Delhi.
Well, according to reports, the actress is already in London with Ranveer’s parents, shopping for the D-Day, while her to-be-better-half Ranveer couldn’t accompany them since the actor, who has quite a few movies in his kitty, is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ along with Alia Bhatt.
