Secret Nuptial of Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra KING KHAN’S SECOND MARRIAGE

For over a year as rumours of the desi girl’s numerous plastic surgeries gain momentum, so did murmurings of her so called “secret wedding” to a married and older superstar. According to Bollywood’s grapevine the actress, now also an international singing sensation, managed to strum the heart-strings of Bollywood’s King. The actress has made no secret of her fondness and admiration for SRK. And this probably led to a head over heels infatuation for the superstar. Starring together in a couple of films, the two developed a closeness which was abhorred by SRK’s wife and close family friends alike.

THE MIDNIGHT NIKAAH

Priyanka who was boycotted by few member’s of the film fraternity for driving a wedge between “Bollywood’s perfect couple” found a shield in her boyfriend; SRK. He not only broke ties with his one-time producer best friend but also had no qualms in showing that he and his wife of 20 years barely have a relationship. Then came another blow, the actress’s father was ailing and on his death bed. It was then he made the last wish to see his little girl married. Our knight in shinning armour stepped in, as a gentleman would, to fulfil his girlfriend’s dying father’s last wish. Rumor has it that the midnight Nikaah took place in Toronto and the two stars went their separate ways once back home. As many got the whiff of the secret nuptials the two stars rubbished it as mere gossip. But then arrived another twist, a few months after their secret nuptial came the announcement that the father of two was going to be a Dad for the third time. But this time through surrogacy.

KEEPING THE MAN FOR THE FAMILY

The actress on the other hand, seemed to have packed her bags dividing her time between Los Angeles and Mumbai, her singing career being her main focus. But what exactly happened? It seems the actor’s neglected wife thought another baby was the only way to keep her errant husband locked into the marriage. She was supported in her decision by close friends as well. The actor who is close to his two children was also given an ultimatum, “It’s either your mistress or us.” The decision was not tough for him since Priyanka Chopra didn’t want her marital status to be known in public. And, SRK was happy maintaining the façade of a family man. Yet it seems the two are very much together and happy to maintain a distance as and when required. They come together when they can or when SRK makes it happen.
