    45-year-old woman loses life after being administered wrong blood group during transfusion

    Keonjhar (Odisha): A Government run hospital at Keonjhar in Odisha is under fire after a woman was allegedly administered the wrong blood group for the duration of a transfusion manner, which proved fatal.

    The incident brought on anxiety within the location and additionally resulted in the dismissal of employees.

    But, the laboratory technician on the blood bank allegedly handed over a packet of 'An' institution blood which was administered to the woman through a body of workers nurse, they stated, adding that the affected person died after a brief while closing night time.

    The sanatorium authorities admitted to the error, whilst the chief District clinical Officer (CDMO), Kavindra Prasad Sahu stated as in line with a training of the district Collector, laboratory technician Bharati Mahanta and staff nurse Hemangini Mahanta were dismissed for gross negligence.
