MONSOON CARE FOR HAIR

The monsoon months can cause hair damage as the climate is sticky due to high humidity. It causes an increased risk of dandruff, hair fall, and frizzy lifeless hair.

Some essential and easy to do 'hair care' during the monsoon are as follows:

KEEP HAIR DRY

Rainwater can be dirty and full of pollutants ( Esp.in cities and Industrial Areas ) which are very bad for your hair. Try and keep your hair dry during the rain, and if exposed to rain water make sure you dry them as soon as possible. Limit your hair dryer during monsoon and towel dry them instead.

CLEANSE HAIR REGULARLY

Use a Sulphate and chemical free mild shampoo. Make sure you shampoo your hair thrice a week to ensure they remain clean and reduce the risk of any scalp infections.

OIL HAIR REGULARLY

Use Hair oil twice a week to nourish your hair and restore the mositure to keep them lustrous and healthy.

MAINTAIN A HEALTHY DIET

Eat well, as this significantly impacts the health of your hair. Have a protein-rich diet, along with green vegetables and whole grains.

AVOID CHEMICALS ON YOUR HAIR

Try and avoid chemicals like colours, gels, hair sprays on your hair during the monsoon months.

At SAO, we recommend the following hair care regime during the monsoon

*REVITALIZING HAIR OIL (Fresh Herbs)*

A powerful anti-bacterial hair oil, it contains fresh neem and tulsi along with other beneficial herbs that combat the effects of pollution and keep your scalp free from any itching or dandruff. We recommend using this once a week during the monsoons for a trouble free scalp.
