Delhi’s magical vibe: How the Capital inspired Salim Merchant’s music


Music composer, Salim Merchant feels Delhi has a mystical vibe, that's why he keeps coming again to the Capital for inspiration. His go to Nizamuddin Dargah inside the city brought about conceptualisation of a track referred to as Bismillah.

He says, “An exceptional ride to Nizamuddin 4 years ago inspired and intrigued me to give you a Qawwali. I was mesmerised with the Qawwali going on there. even though we've got made a number of Qawwali songs but I idea we must make every other one as I wanted to create the community making a song vibe.”
