64th National Film Awards Winners: Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Neerja’ wins Best Hindi Feature Film, Akshay Kumar declared Best Actor
The much-awaited winners' rundown of the 64th National Film Awards was reported on Friday morning. Sonam Kapoor-starrer 'Neerja', which was coordinated by Ram Madhvani, was pronounced as the Best Hindi Feature Film. Akshay Kumar packed away the Best Actor grant for his demonstration in "Rustom" while Ajay Devgn-coordinated "Shivaay" won the honor for Best VFX. Sonam Kapoor likewise got a Special Mention for her execution in 'Neerja'.
More than 300 movies competed for the distinctions this year. The procedure to pick the best from Indian silver screen started in mid-March. Movie producer Priyadarshan was the director of the jury in highlight movies classification, while broadly acclaimed cinematographer and author Raju Misra was the executive in non-include classification.
