1. Old Delhi
 
 
This place has a charm of its own and is like no other. It offers spectacular pieces of architecture, a mouthwatering variety of food, and is essentially a living, breathing piece of history. As you walk through the architectural divine of the Mughals, from Jama Masjid to Red Fort or in between the lanes of Chandni Chowk you'll experience the aroma of delicious food coming from every corner. Don't skip a chance to try delicious biryani and kebabs in the lane of Jama Masjid. And mouth watering Chaats and Kachori in Chandni Chowk
 
2. Qutub Minar
 
 
Another spot you must visit is the Qutub Minar Complex are historic and stunning. The first structures at the complex were built by the Sultans of Mehrauli and later by the Mughals. The Qutub Minar is a tall tower built in the Afghan architectural style and it has verses from the Quran written on it.
 
3. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
 
 
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib holds special significance for Sikhs because of its relation with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan who stayed here to cure thousands suffering from cholera and smallpox epidemic. The ‘Sarover’ or ‘lake’ inside the gurudwara is also worth a visit for its serenity and importance. In a recent survey, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib was ranked as the best place of pilgrimage in Delhi. 

 
 

4. India Gate
 
 
India Gate was constructed in the year 1931 as a war memorial for over 70,000 soldiers killed during First World War and Afghan War. The names of the soldiers are inscribed in the walls of India Gate. It was earlier known as "All India War Memorial". Situated in Rajpath, India Gate looks stunning in the evening, when it's all lit up.
 
5. Rastrapati Bhawan
 
 
The official home of the President of India, Rashtrapati Bhavan was completed in the year 1929. It was designed by the famous British architect Edwin Lutyens with the intention of becoming the official residence of the then viceroy of India. The architectural marvel of Rashtrapati Bhawan combined with majestic gardens around the place is a reason to visit this place.
