INS Khanderi – The new guardian of India's seas
New Delhi: The INS Khanderi was launched on Thursday in Mumbai, denoting another point of reference in India's endeavors to fortify its maritime armada.
Here are couple of things you have to think about the second Scorpene class submarine in India:
The submarine is named following a seventeenth century Maratha island stronghold.
The stealth elements of INS Khanderi are supposedly unmatched by many submarines.
INS Khanderi was worked at the shipyard of Mazagaon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDL) in Mumbai under a concurrence with French maritime protection firm DCNS.
Distinctive parts of the submarine were worked outside the body and after that embedded into the vessel.
The Scorpene class submarine can accumulate insight, direct observation simply like whatever other advanced submarine.
