‘Facilities are excellent’: Messages pour in for Kerala CM from TN NEET students

Many students who had come from outside the state and their parents, praised the CM for providing help and arranging facilities for writing the exam.

 
 

Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for extending help and arranging facilities for those who had come to appear for NEET exam, from outside the state. 
 
The messages, came in the form of WhatsApp and sms messages, to the help desk numbers formed for asisting students coming from outside the state to write the exam. Messages were sent mostly by the students and their parents. 
 
The CM had directed District Collectors and police chiefs to make the necessary arrangements at important railway stations and bus stops to help the students who would come to write the exam. It was in Ernakulam that most of the students from outside the state came, to appear for the exam.
 
“Thanks to Kerala govt. for helping the TN students and parents,” read one of the messages. 
 
“Please convey our sincere thanks and gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala for extending kind help to NEET students of Tamil Nadu. We will never forget this timely help,” said V. Rajan, an advocate from Kanyakumari district. 
 
“Thank you very much for your helping mind to Tamil Nadu students Sir. Let you and your family live long and prosper,” said Arun, a UPSC aspirant. 
 
Another message said, “I sincerely thank the Hon. Kerala Chief Minister for his invaluable help rendered to the students. Thanks a lot.”
 

 
 

Siva Balachandran from Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu said, “We came to attend the NEET examination at Ernakulam, Elamakkara, Bhavan’s School centre. We appreciate Kerala CM’s help for Tamil people to write the exam. It is excellent and exemplary. Sir, please convey our best wishes and sincere appreciation to Honourable CM, Kerala govt.”
 
Meanwhile, Vijay Chenn wrote, “Respected sir, I am extremely thankful to honourable Kerala CM and Tamil Sangam for providing fundamental assistance to write NEET exam for students from Tamil Nadu.” 
 
Earlier, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami on Friday had announced a travel allowance of Rs 1,000 and second class train fare for Tamil Nadu students appearing for the NEET medical entrance exam outside the state.
 
Speaking to TNM earlier, the Director of NEET had said that more than one lakh students had been accommodated within the state, and they tried their best to allot centres to everyone within TN.
