Army jawan, wife killed as Pak ceasefire violation in LoC Poonch
Srinagar: Two individuals from a family were killed on Saturday as Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch region. As per the reports, the Pak Army targeted on Indian posts and towns in Chakka da bagh and Kharri Karmara ranges.
Conversing with IANS, police said,"The casualties included off-duty soldier and his wife. The couple's two kids were harmed when a shell shot from over the border hit their home on the LoC in Gulpur zone."
"Pakistan Army started unpredictable firing and shelling on our positions on the LoC in Gulpur region at around 6:30 AM. The terminating is progressing and our powers are adequately retaliating," the sources said.
The truce infringement goes ahead the day when uncommon security arrangements of action have been set up to keep up lawfulness on the primary passing commemoration of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.
Prior to the day, two armed force jawans were harmed when terrorists attacked assaulted their escort in Bandipora region.
