Forbes Billionaires list 2019: Mukesh Ambani yet again tops the list of India

American business magazine Forbes released the World’s Billionaire list 2019 on Tuesday. Mukesh Ambani, Azim Premji, Shiv Nadar, and Lakshmi Mittal are the four Indians who made it on the top 100 list.

 
 

 
The chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh Ambani has topped the list of India's richest man in 2019 with a net worth of $50 billion! The business tycoon is also the 13th richest person in the world.
 
 
Azim Premji, the chairman of Wipro Limited is placed second on the list. As per Forbes, Premji's wealth grew from $21 billion to $22.6 billion, this year. Premji is ranked 36th in the world list. 
 
 
Founder and chairman of HCL, Shiv Nadar jumped from sixth to the third spot. Nadar who is also an industrialist and philanthropist was ranked 82 on the list of Forbes World's Billionaire. His net worth is $14.6 billion.
 
 
Indian steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal slipped one place to fourth with a total net worth of $13.6 billion. The UK based businessman is ranked 91st on the world rankings. 
 
 
The executive vice chairman and MD of Kotak Mahindra Bank, Uday Kotak has a net worth of $11.8 billion. The billionaire banker jumped from rank 12th to 5th on the top 10 richest Indians list. His net worth splurged from $10.8 billion to $11.7 billion. He was ranked 114th on the overall list.
 
 
Kumar Mangalam Birla who is the chairman of Aditya Birla Group was placed sixth on the top 10 Indians in the Forbes Billionaires list. With a net worth of $11.1 billion, Mangalam shared the 122nd spot with investor Radhakishan Damani in the world rankings.

 
 

 
Radhakishan Damani and family has a net worth of $11 billion. As per Forbes, India's retail king jumped from 11th to 6th spot in India's top richest list.
 
 
Cyrus Ponnawalla is ranked 7th on India's richest list. He has a net worth of $9.5 billion and is ranked 147th in the world rankings. 
 
 
Gautam Shantilal Adani finished 8th on the list of India's richest, this year. The founder and chairman of the Adani Group, Adani has a net worth of $8.7 billion and is ranked 167th in the world rankings.
 
 
The founder of Sun Pharmaceuticals, Dilip Shanghvi occupied 9th position in India’s richest list. The Padma Shri Awardee has a net worth of $7.6 billion.
