Who wouldn't want to take a break and enjoy a scenic beauty with a breathtaking view? From sitting by the beach and sipping on some coconut water to just taking a walk and binging on some local cuisines, a holiday is rejuvenation of the soul. But unfortunately, our bank balance isn't campatible with our holiday plans. We've made a list of five places that you can visit in India with Rs 10,000.
Devikulam
Although there is no proof of authenticity, it's believed that Goddess Sita bathed in the lake waters which is now known as Sita Devi Lake. Surrounded by green hills, the lake is said to be sacred with the potential of curative powers. Adding to the scenic beauty, a few kilometers from the late is the Pallicasal Waterfalls with dense tea plantations that make this destination for a perfect holiday.
Gokarna
No holiday can ever be complete without a good swim. But instead of the crowded beaches and polluted waters, opt for the beautiful Sathodi Falls that is often known as Mini Niagara Falls. Part of the Ganesh Gudi Forest Range, Sathodi falls has a pristine picturesque that is the perfect mix of several water bodies that join together at the Kallaramane Ghat. Wouldn't this make for the first holiday of 2019?
Goa
Not just famous for the sun, sand, and beaches, Goa is the perfect amalgamation Hindu Goan styles and Portuguese culture. If nothing, just take a trip to Old Goa and visit the Archaeological Museum and Wax World, and the Museum of Christian Art.
Auli
The Himalayan paradise is the perfect place to spend your vacay in. With picturesque slopes, you can enjoy the view of coniferous slopes, Vasundhara falls and the snowcapped mountains at a distance. Apart from being a popular pilgrimage destination, Auli is also famous for being one of the best skiing destinations in the country.
Pondicherry
Located in southeastern Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry is the perfect place to unwind after a hectic schedule. With quaint cafes and Portugal architecture, the former French colony is the perfect place to prepare yourself for the upcoming summer season and the workload that it brings along.
