Watch: Footballer celebrates his goal by proposing to girlfriend, ends up getting yellow carded

The Chilean Primera Division match between C.D. Antofagasta and Everton saw Venezuelan footballer Eduard Bello celebrate his goal by proposing his girlfriend Gabriela Brito for marriage.
There isn't as good a feeling for a football player as finding the back of the net. For forward players, it's all about scoring goals but the determination becomes even stronger if there's an immediate motive behind it. Such was the case in the Chilean Primera Division match between C.D. Antofagasta and Everton when Antofagasta's Eduard Bello found the back of the net before running towards his girlfriend Gabriela Brito, who is a beach volleyball player, in the stands to propose her.
It all ended well as the Venezuelan footballer got a yes from his girlfriend but wasn't able to prevent himself from yellow carded by the referee as it's a bookable offence to leave the field of play for any player before being subbed off.
The video shows Bello leaving the field before running up a few stairs to reach his girlfriend where he kisses her and goes down on one knee to present the ring. Here's the video:

Brito later spoke to ADN Deportes radio saying, "It's no wonder he insisted so much on me coming. It really took me by surprise because we hadn't spoken about it [marriage]. We probably will go to Venezuela and it will be in December."
Bello was unfortunate to be subbed off later in the game after fracturing the fibula that is likely to rule him out of on-field action for three to four months.
"I'm going to be out between three and four months but I have to be positive," Bello was quoted as saying by CDF. "I take with me my family success. Injuries are part of football. Everything happens for a reason. Unfortunately, this injury comes at a very sweet time for me.”
"As for the proposal, I had been thinking about it for a long time but I hadn't been able to do it. I had the authorisation of the club executives and my coach because I knew I would be booked. Thanks to God everything came out in the best possible way," he added about the decision to propose his girlfriend.
