Bhopal: Concerned over raising farmers' agitation, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to sit on indefinite fast from Saturday for rebuilding of peace.

Mandsaur, the epicenter of farmers' agitation in Madhya Pradesh, stayed tranquil on Friday.

While tending to a question and answer session, the CM said he would be accessible at the Dussehra Maidan from 11 am Saturday for farmers to come and examine their issues yet attested that boisterous components would be managed entirely.

The restriction hammered him for his "drama" and "hypocrisy".

The farmers in the state are challenging over an interest for credit waivers from June 1 and setting appropriate costs for the products. Amid the dissents six farmers have been slaughtered in police terminating in Mandsaur region while different locales of the state are additionally arranging vicious challenges.

A careful focal government, in the interim, asked states connecting Madhya Pradesh to keep strict vigil against the spread of farmers' dissent.
