In fact, there's nobody like him when it comes to putting the nation first. He's proved time and again that the country comes first. Of course one can recount some of the best moments in that respect. Here we go:
 
1. Preventing the National Flag from touching the ground when a fan rushed onto the field to touch his feet.
 
2. Always stressing on how he wants to serve in the Army after retirement 
 

3. When he received the Padma Bhushan in 2018, Dhoni went in his uniform to show his solidarity with the armed forces 
 
4. Does not have the flag on his helmet because while keeping he sometimes has to keep it on the ground 
 

 
 

5. Misses the birth of his daughter Ziva in 2015 as he was away on World Cup duty and chose to see her after coming back 
 

6. Has always made it clear that country is his first love, even before his wife Sakshi
