6 reasons Jennifer Winget is the undisputed queen of Indian TV

Indian TV actress Jennifer Winget turns 33 today. Jennifer who is currently seen in Bepannaah entered TV industry as a child actor in Ekta Kapoor's Kkusum and went on to do more than a dozen TV shows in a span of 15 years.

The pretty actress has been a part of some of the most popular TV shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Dill Mill Gayye, Saraswatichandra and Beyhadh. In these years Jennifer has made a name for herself in the television industry with her impeccable acting skills and a huge fan-following.

Here's what makes the telly beauty the undisputed queen of Indian TV.

1. Acting chops: Jennifer is undeniably one of the best actresses on Indian television. The way she portrayed Maya, one can't imagine anyone but her as the Beyhadh obsessive lover. Be it Saraswatichandra, Beyhadh or now Bepannaah, her scenes are worth watching as she never disappoints. She breathes life into her character.

2. Selective with her projects: Jennifer has always been choosy with her shows. She has not done anything and everything that came her way but took up projects that had something substantial to offer. Her shows have never been run-of-the-mill kind.

3. Author-backed roles: From Kumud of Saraswatichandra to Zoya in Bepannaah, she's played author-backed roles in her show. If Maya was the pycho, who didn't think twice before trying to kill her own mother, Zoya is so timid that she can't even hurt a fly. The variations in these characters and the finesse with which she portrays them is commendable.

4. Experiment with looks: Jennifer has slowly evolved as the fashionista of the telly town. She isn't afraid from experimenting with her looks. She can carry long tresses to short bob with elan. She adds her personal touch to the characters she portrays on screen. Initially, she had a complete corporate look in Beyhadh which changed with time when she got married and embraced colours in her attire. In Bepannaah, Jennifer looks gorgeous in anarkalis and the nose ring adds extra charm to her ethnic look in the show.

5. Affectionate and friendly behaviour with her co-stars: Jennifer Winget has shared screen space with many actors and has been friends with most of them, be it Karan Wahi, Sehban Azim or Kushal Tandon. May be that's the secret of her amazing chemistry with all her co-stars in every show.

6. Huge fan base: Jennifer Winget's fans base might have swelled post Beyhadh but she has been enjoying a great fan following since her stint in romantic medical drama Dill Mill Gayye. Her hug fandom is enviable.
