Bollywood is a powerhouse of talent where you either are remembered for your work or are soon forgotten. While everyone dreams of becoming a star which brings them fame and money obviously, some of Bollywood’s big names have enjoyed a bigger inning in their real life over the one in reel life. Here are 8 actors who might not have managed to make it super big in Bollywood but are pretty big business owners in real life.
1. Bobby Deol
Despite not having many movies in his kitty, this handsome man enjoys a stellar fan following. He is known to be a wonderful person off-screen and even though he became a celebrity DJ not a very long time ago, he has many sound investments in place which keeps him busy.
2. Arjun Rampal
The talented actor has done some cool work on screen but his hard work off screen is fabulous as well. Arjun Rampal brought the uber cool party place LAP in Delhi a few years ago when the party culture was still catching up. He also has an event and talent management company to his name.
3. Twinkle Khanna
The witty actress has already proved her mettle as a successful writer in the publishing industry. But before she forayed into the world of writing, Twinkle happily escaped the movie world to become a talented interior designer.
4. Suniel Shetty
Anna has his own fan following but has lately been away from the screen. He is arguably one of the fittest actors in the country and champions the cause to pursue a healthy lifestyle very well. He owns a few dining bars in Mumbai, has his own production house named Popcorn Entertainment, and is also known to have ventured into real estate. In fact, he is one of the best businessmen who shifted focus from the reel life to make his real one a bigger success.
5. Sushmita Sen
The former Miss Universe who continues to win hearts, courtesy her beautiful nature and the causes she stands up for, Sushmita doesn’t care much about her Bollywood career because she has enough love from the world otherwise as well. She has a jewellery brand named after her daughter and a famous Bengali restaurant in Mumbai as well.
6. Lara Dutta
Another smart beauty queen who didn’t chase on-screen success but lives life on her own terms instead. She has a production house named Bheegi Basanti and a range of sarees designed by her.
7. Dino Morea
He set hearts ablaze with his hot aura and continues to make girls go weak in their knees till date. Despite a short-lived Bollywood innings, Dino successfully manages a restaurant chain and also has a clothing line.
8. Chunky Panday
Our favourite Mr. Pasta is known for his comic timing in movies but not many know that he is a successful restaurant owner in real life as well.
