Aravindha Sametha box office collection: Jr NTR's film mints Rs 100 crore worldwide in just 3 days
Jr NTR's film Aravindha Sametha has broken all records at the box office as the Telugu movie has minted more than Rs 100 crore in just 3 days worldwide. Directed by Trivikram, the film also stars Pooja Hegde.
Telugu actor Jr NTR whose film Aravindha Sametha released on Friday, has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide in just 3 days. The film which is a maiden collaboration between the actor and director Trivikram Srinivas, has broken all records at the box office. On it's opening day, the film debuted with Rs 60 crore worldwide.
On it's opening day, the film had received several mixed reviews from the critics. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh released the film's US earnings. He wrote, "#Telugu film #AravindhaSametha continues its DREAM RUN in USA... Records EXCELLENT numbers on Sat... Growth on Sat [vis-à-vis Fri]: 29.90%...Wed previews + Thu $ 1,011,893, Fri $ 275,325, Sat $ 357,658 / 195 locations, Total: $ 1,644,876 [₹ 12.11 cr]."
Talking about the movie earlier, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli praised the film and lauded Jr NTR's performance saying that it will be 'remembered for a long time'. He wrote, "Taking the aftermath of a war as a plot point & starting the film with that is a daring step by Trivikram garu. And it worked superbly. Tarak's performance in that scene will be remembered for a long time. JB garu is terrifying. CONGRATS to the whole team :) #AravindhaSametha."
Earlier, while the film received a great response from critics and celebrities and Jr NTR tweeted out his thanks to the team. He wrote, "Overwhelmed by the response for #ASVR . Thank you for all the love. This success wouldn’t have been possible without #Trivikram garu, whose focus and determination drove us all. Thank you sir." The film also stars Pooja Hegde.
Jr NTR is now gearing up towards his upcoming film NTR biopic that is based on the life of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao. Vidya Balan and Rakul Preet Kaur have been roped in, to play NTR's wife and legendary actress Sridevi, respectively.
