But this one farmer seems to have misunderstood the concept of a perfect proposal. Instead of taking his girlfriend out for dinner and going down on one knee to ask her to marry him, he proposed by putting an engagement ring on a cow's udder. Check it out below:
A woman shared a snap of this proposal that she had come across online on the Facebook group called 'That’s It I’m Ring Shaming'. Captioning the post, the anonymous woman wrote: 'Shaming the ring and the whole photoshoot. The person is a farmer. Still doesn't excuse his bad taste. And is this considered a nipple ring? Also, the band is thicker than the center stone. If my eyeballs are forced to suffer through this nonsense I'm dragging everyone down with me'.
Naturally, all users on the group were horrified.
One wrote: 'I’m uncomfortable'.
Another commented: 'I am udderly disgusted'.
While the third joked: 'He’s really trying to milk the proposal'.
Meanwhile, other users expressed their concerns for the cow, with one writing: 'This animal doesn’t deserve being abused in this fashion'.
