From Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal To Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt: Bollywood Celebrities Who Might Get Married In 2020
Entertainment & Fun

The year 2018 saw some high profile weddings like that of Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi, and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas. And it looks like love is in the air in 2019 too with many new love stories blooming. Some of the power couples have also gone public with their relationships on social media while some others are yet to come out in open. With so many couples, it is hard to say who will take the next step in their relationship. Here we give you a preview of what the wedding chart of 2020 will look like.

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal
Varun Dhawan and his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal’s love affair has been in the news on several occasions in the past. Although the actor has been extremely private about his relationship, he never shied away from making public appearances with her. Varun finally put all the speculations surrounding his love affair to rest on Karan Johar’s chat show where he accepted that he is in a relationship with Natasha.
The actor also confessed about the same in a Filmfare interview, where he said, “It’s not going to happen this year. I’m not saying I won’t get married but it’s not this soon. If I’m doing all these movies, I need to find the right time for that.” Well, needless to say, fans are waiting with bated breath for their long impending wedding announcement.
Many reports have speculated that the actor will finally take the plunge with his lady love in December 2019. However, we at ETimes had exclusively reported that given Varun’s packed schedule, the couple is reportedly planning to shift their big day to 2020.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made headlines right from the start of 2018. The couple apparently fell in love with each other on the sets of ‘Brahmastra’. But they refrained from making it official till mid-2018 when they finally confessed their love for each other. And ever since, their relationship has just grown stronger with each passing day.
There have been various reports circulating on the internet which suggest that the two are soon going to take the nuptial vows. Alia had earlier told Hindustan Times, “Right now, I am not thinking about getting married. But honestly, I am not someone who thinks about these things. I just go ahead and do them. It could be a very random thing since I consider myself a random person. So, I may make these decisions also at random. I am not someone who plans out my life thinking, 'Well, that's how it should be done.' I feel the best things in life should happen when they are least expected.”
Even Ranbir, during one of the interviews during ‘Sanju’, reportedly said that marriage is definitely on the cards. With all the reports doing the rounds, fans cannot help but wait with bated breath for the formal announcement.

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora
It is only recently that Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora made their relationship official. Although their social media PDA and outings spoke volume about their love affair; they chose to keep mum over the same for a long time.
Ever since the couple made it official on Arjun’s birthday this year when they jetted off to the US to spend some quality time together, they have been painting the town red. Both of them, on various occasions, have opened up about all the speculations surrounding their marriage.
Arjun had earlier told Deccan Chronicle, “Marriage is definitely not going to happen now. I'm happy on both, the personal and professional fronts. I have always been open. Be assured that I will not shock you all; if there is something to be spoken about, I will inform you all and make you a part of it.”
However, with all the news about them moving together in their new house, we hope they are all set for the saath pheras.
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar both made headlines after they shared a picture of them holding hands in NYC. The picture followed a lot more pictures. Although their social media PDA spoke volumes about their love affair, they did not officially confirm it.
The cute couple also made their first public appearance at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding reception and since then there has been no looking back. Fans witnessed their love blossom with one picture at a time on social media.
While reports were stating that they might get hitched earlier this year, Farhan rubbished all such reports. Shibani even mocked the whole news report by asking Farhan on a talk show when they are getting married. Answering Shibani’s question, he said, “She's just having fun with all the rumours going around.” Answering her question, he said, "I don't know it maybe April or April may be May.”
The couple has been dating for over a year now and it would certainly not be wrong for his fans to expect that they might finally get hitched next year!
Rohman Shawl and Sushmita Sen
Rohman Shawl and Sushmita Sen are undoubtedly one of the cutest couples we have in Bollywood. The couple, who fell in love with each other at a fashion show, made their relationship official in no time. Right from working out together to attending parties to spending quality time with family, they have left no stone unturned in showing off their admiration for each other.
Sushmita’s two adopted daughters Renee and Alisah are also quite fond of Rohman and have approved their mother’s choice. Reports are now rife that the two are ready to take their relationship to the next level and might get hitched by the end of this year.
Rohan Shrestha and Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha Kapoor has always maintained privacy when it came to her personal life. She has, time and again, rubbished all her link-up reports with Farhan Akhtar and Aditya Roy Kapur in the past. However, whenever she has been asked about her rumoured love affair with her close photographer friend Rohan Shrestha, the answer has always been diplomatic!
The couple has reportedly been dating for a while now and although they are yet to come out in open about it, their outings and pictures are proof enough. According to reports, things are getting serious between the two, and they are planning to tie the knot next year. Shraddha's mother Shivangi Kapoor is already setting the wedding plans in motion.
Earlier, Shraddha in a throwback interview with iDiva had said, “Marriage is very beautiful and if you have to get married, you need to be crazily in love with that person. It is a lifelong commitment, so you must be able see your whole life with that person. It’s a huge decision.”
However, father Shakti Kapoor had scrapped all such wedding reports of her daughter stating that she is focussed on her upcoming films and that her schedule is chock-a-block for the next two years.
Well, with her kitty full of projects, a wedding does seem like it will be quite a task. But it would be a treat for all her fans!
