Vadodara along with other cities in Gujarat witnessed heavy rains on Wednesday. While the rains brought relief from the scorching summer heat, it also got floods and water-logging along. The roads of Vadodara and nearby cities are completely under water.

To make it worse, a large number of crocodiles have entered the city, creating havoc. In videos that are being shared online, crocodiles can be seen roaming the streets which resemble streams now. We came across a gut-wrenching video that shows the exact situation in Vadodara at the moment.

A Twitter user shared a clip that was simply captioned, "VadodaraRains #Vadodara." The video shows a water-logged street and two stray dogs trying to escape a crocodile that was casually wading through the water, trying to sneak up on the dogs. Watch the video for yourself.

This is not the only clip that we saw online. Another scary video shared by a Twitter user, Shailendra Mohan, is captioned, "Claims of this from Akota. What makes floods in #Baroda scarier than anywhere else #crocodile." It shows a crocodile casually strolling on the streets of Akota in Vadodara.

Twitter is flooded with people narrating how crocodiles have taken over the streets of Gujarat and how scary the situation is right now.

The Indian Meterological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places across Gujarat today. All schools and colleges in Vadodara will remain closed today. The city's railway station has been shut down and as many as 22 trains were cancelled, while two flights were diverted to Ahmedabad due to water-logging at the airport.
