Priyanka Chopra on USA Today’s power icons list with Meryl Streep and Beyonce, says ‘feel privileged to share platform with amazing women’

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been named one of the 50 most powerful women in entertainment in USA Today’s power icons list. The list honours women who have redefined the entertainment industry and changed the game in their respective lines of work. Priyanka features in the list alongside other power players such as three-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep, media mogul Oprah Winfrey, singer Beyoncé, TV personality Ellen DeGeneres, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, and actors Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Tina Fey.
Talking about this international recognition, Priyanka says, “For me, power is simply an energy that empowers me to do what I love. Priyanka is no stranger to power lists — she was on the Forbes 100 most influential list that released in November 2018 and Variety’s 500 Most Influential list that came out in December the previous year.
