Priyanka Chopra’s Response To ‘A Woman Slapping A Man For Teasing Her Isn’t Equality’ Must Be Included In School Curriculum (VIDEO)

Priyanka Chopra was asked for her opinion on a scenario that when a woman slaps a man for teasing her, is that equality? Why no feminist ever take up the cause of the man who just got physically abused? What the actress said needs to be put down in school curriculum across the globe. Yes, because it is that basic and yes, because people still do not understand that idea of gender equality and feminism.

Priyanka was speaking at the #GESF (Global Education & Skills Forum) in Dubai. The forum aims to seek and achieve education, equity and employment for all and brings together world leaders from public, private and social sectors to work towards the same.

She wrapped up her shoot for her crime dram series Quantico 3 and headed straight to Dubai to be part of this discussion. So when a man put that scenario in front of her, and sounded that he was hurt by the fact that the woman slapped the man for just teasing her, Priyanka knew that she needs to lay down the basics.

In her response, PeeCee said loud and clear, “Physiologically men and women are different. When we talk about equality and opportunity we talk about cerebral opportunity. We are saying you give the ability to get the job, to be the CEO and no body should question a women’s choices or her drive to be someone. So if she is 50, a CEO and a mother of three. do not question her.”

To put an end to this skewed idea of equality, Priyanka ended the discussion with, “So when a girl slaps a man who teases her, he deserves it.” Watch the video below. If you aren’t a Priyanka Chopra fan already, you will become now.

Priyanka is definitely our hero when it comes to speaking her mind. She is a strong women and her opinions resonates with a lot of young men and women and that’s why despite not doing any Hindi film since so long, she continues to be an icon.

But talking about her return to Bollywood, there are fresh reports that PeeCee would be playing the lead in the Kalpana Chawla biopic. Reports also suggest that she will start shooting as early as next month onwards, which is also when her American television series Quantico 3 would have premiered (April 26). But till there is no official confirmation, its better to not get too excited.

  Thought of the Day

Just as the sun gently moves the darkness of night out each morning, we too can move from darkness to light each day. Wake up to new life each day, freeing ourself from all things that do not serve us. Let them drift away with the night & fill that space with new hope each morning..Good Morning
