However, the young Khan caused quite an embarrassment for Dad Saif after one of his Insta stories declared the arrival of Sacred Games star on the Facebook-owned social media site.

It read, ” @saidpataudi Finally”

Soon, the news spread with lightening speed since this was the first time Saif would have made a debut on social media. Both Kareena and Saif have not existed on any social media platforms.

Within minutes of the news spreading, Saif’s team issued a clarification that there was no truth to the announcement, made in Ibrahim’s Insta story. One of Saif’s spokesperons was quoted as saying, “The reports floating are completely untrue. Saif Ali Khan is not on Instagram or on any other social media platform for that matter. We are in the process of investigating the matter.”

Later, a few sources were quoted as saying that Ibrahim’s account may have been hacked. But, if that was the case, Ibrahim should have issued a clarification since the account appears to be have been restored now.

It’s not clear whether it was mischief played by Ibrahim in a drunk condition or it was a case of a son trying to blackmail his father into making a social media debut.

Saif was recently in news after an old interview of the actor talking about his emotional financial woes post his divorce with Amrita Singh resurfaced on social media. In that interview, Saif had talked about going nearly bankrupt and not being allowed to see his children, Ibrahim and Sara Ali Khan by his ex-wife Amrita.
