This Saturday, famous Bollywood singher Sonu Nigam and his wife Madhurima graced the stage of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Like every episode, this episode too was filled with lots of humour, fun and of course a reverberating musical performance by Sonu.
The show began with Kapil and Chandan Prabhakar dressed up as Rajiv Thakur’s father and mother while they came with marriage proposal for Baccha’s sister-in-law Bhuri. Kapil and Chandan were seen cracking jokes on Baccha and his wife (Bharti) and making fun of Rajiv’s look. At the end, Kapil, Chandan and Rajiv get exposed and subsequently make exit.
Later, Kapil welcomes his guest, singer Sonu Nigam by revealing few unknown facts about him. He reveals that Sonu has sung in over 15 different languages. Sonu makes an entry by singing his popular song ‘Sapna Jahan’ from the movie ‘Brothers’.
While praising Sonu amidst applauds from the audience, Kapil introduces Sonu by saying that he is one of the few singers who is not only appreciated for his singing talent, but is also quite famous on Twitter.
Sonu in a quick reply to Kapil in his witty style took a dig at the comedian and said, ‘Twitter par toh aap bhi bahut famous hain…’ which left the audience laughing and clapping.
Later, Sonu revealed some interesting facts about him that he started singing at the age on 4 and he loves learning new things. He went on to reveal that he knows Taekwondo, palmistry, numerology, Yoga and many more things.
Madhurima who soon entered the show was greeted by a romantic song by Sonu. She shares their relationship memories and also some secrets of Sonu during the show. Sonu was later seen cracking jokes with Sapna aka Krushna in the episode.
It is worth mentioning that Kapil Sharma had been in controversy for sometime due to his messages on Twitter. Later, he even went to rehab and returned with a bang and also married his girlfriend. His on stage performance is as usual at its best everytime he walks on to the stage to perform. Hope, Kapil will continue to be the ‘pain reliever’ of crores of people who eagerly await to watch his show!!
