Swedish YouTuber winds up Ekta Kapoor with joke on Zee TV serial

Swedish YouTuber Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg is a well known name on the video sharing website, where he has over 6.25 crore subscribers. He’s now in news in India because of winding up filmmaker Ekta Kapoor.

 
 

Known as PewDiePie, the Swedish YouTube sensation recently took a swipe at Ekta Kapoor serial Kasamh Se, which was broadcast on Zee TV in 2006. He tweeted a screenshot from Ksamh Se video promising ‘good quality’, but the quality was in fact terrible.
 
His tweet evoked funny reactions from his followers both in India and elsewhere in the world. One Indian user asked, “The f are you watching.” Another Twittrati with an Asian name asked, “pew, why are you watching hindi songs.” “Welcome to Indian TV medium pewds,” commented an Indian social media user.
 
His tweet targeting Ekta Kapoor serial did not go down well the maker herself, who reacted angrily. Ekta wrote, “Bhai tu kaun hai! Luks like d firang junior artists we hire from colaba when we Create Paris in arey:) he will find his dopplegangers in kasam se only;)”
 
Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg was declared as the highest paid YouTube star in 2016, according to Forbes magazine.
