Five killed, 40 injured in London terror attack ; PM Theresa May says UK Parliament to convene on Thursday

London: Five people were killed and 40 harmed in Wednesday's terror attack  outside the Parliament in central London.

A terrorist speculate cut down pedestrians on a bridge and stabbed  a cop outside Parliament complex before being shot dead by Scotland Yard officers in an occurrence roused by "international terrorism".

Prime Minister Theresa May censured the assault as  "sick and depraved".

"The area of this assault was no  accident," she said in an announcement outside her 10 Downing Street office late at night.

"The terrorist oppressor struck at the heart of our capital city, where individuals of all nationalities, religions and societies meet up to celebrate the values of liberty, democracy and freedom of speech."

Parliament's lower House of Commons, which was in session at the time, was suspended and administrators were approached to remain inside the working for a few hours.

May said Parliament would meet as should be expected on Thursday in a sign that the assault would not upset life in the capital.

PM May was packaged into her auto by a regular clothes cop and driven rapidly from the scene as the assault unfurled. She will seat a meeting of the Government's emergency Cobra Committee.

"Profoundly disheartened by the terror attack in London. Our considerations and supplications are with the casualties and their families," PM tweeted.

"At this troublesome minute, India remains with UK in the fight against terrorism,” his another tweet said.

Rowley, additionally London's top hostile to fear officer, said that the officer who passed on in the assault has been named as Keith Palmer, who was 48 and had 15 service as a police officer.
