Infosys : CEO and MD Vishal Sikka resigns; U B Pravin Rao interim MD and CEO
Mumbai: Infosys Ltd said on Friday Vishal Sikka has resigned as managing director and CEO of the organization with quick impact. Sikka has now been named as official executive vice-chairman, Infosys included.
Infosys COO U B Pravin Rao has been named as the Interim - MD and CEO of the firm.
"The progression get ready for arrangement of another Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer has been operationalised by the board and a scan for the same has been started," Infosys said.
"Sikka emphasized his confidence in the considerable capability of Infosys, yet refered to among his purposes behind leaving a persistent stream of diversions and disturbances over the current months and quarters, progressively individual and negative starting late, as keeping administration's capacity to quicken the organization's change," the organization said in a BSE fililng.
