Mira Rajput, not Shahid Kapoor, will choose the name of their second baby. Here’s why

Mira Rajput says husband Shahid Kapoor named daughter Misha so now it is her turn to name their baby.

Mira Rajput’s second pregnancy has been in the limelight right from the time Shahid Kapoor and she announced it to the world. Her fashion sense, in particular, has come up for much praise. Now, in an interview to Zoom TV, she has spoken at length about what will be the name of her second child and how she plans on bringing up her two children. Shahid and Mira are parents to daughter Misha.

Talking about the name of the child, Mira said that while Misha’s name was given by Shahid, this time round she might pick a name for their second child. They haven’t thought of a name yet and are open to suggestions. “We haven’t decided the name of the baby yet. In fact, we are open to all suggestions. Misha’s name was Shahid’s selection. So, this time, I might get to select the name.”

Yes we miss you @shahidkapoor but I’m loving the extra hugs all for myself!

Misha incidentally is an amalgamation of the names of Mira and Shahid. She was born on August 26, 2016 while the couple had got married in July 2015.

Mira also spoke about the prospects of bringing up two children and how she would ensure that she maintains a balance between the two and the first child doesn’t feel neglected.

“This time I already have a toddler around and keeping a balance between the one you have and the one that’s on its way is very important. Everything changes and you don’t want that the one who has been the apple of your eyes for so long and feels that she’s the centre of your world to feel neglected and ignored. That is very important,” Mira was quoted as saying.
