New Delhi: Freedom fighter Udham Singh's pistol, which was utilized to retaliate for the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre in 1919, may stay away for the indefinite future to India.

As per a Times of India report, Udham Singh's pistol is still in the care of Metropolitan Police, UK.

The United Kingdom had declined to restore the effects of the saint to Punjab government.

In a report sent in 2004, the UK Govt asserted that Singh's journals, shoemaker blade, pistol and ammo were a piece of confirmation so it can't be come back to India.
