Samsung to invest Rs 1,970 crore for new manufacturing unit in UP

An memorandum of understanding (MoU) was marked on Monday between the state government and cell phones major Samsung for setting up an assembling unit in Uttar Pradesh.
The MoU was marked within the sight of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and senior Samsung authorities. Under the assention, Samsung would put Rs 1,970 crore in the state.
An assembling plant would be set up in Noida and the organization would likewise be making cell phones for the goal-oriented free Samajwadi Smartphone Scheme, reported by the Chief Minister. The plan would be taken off one year from now after the state get together surveys, if the Samajwadi Party (SP) comes back to control.
Under the plan, free cell phones will be given to real occupants of Uttar Pradesh - people more than 18 years and having a base instructive capability of registration (having passed Class 10).
Saying thanks to the Samsung administration for choosing to make such a major interest in the express, the Chief Minister said the organization had earned a name for itself over the world for its reality class items. He included that creation of iceboxes, TVs and versatile sets would come as a major help for the general population of the state.
