Samsung brings new wireless charging accessories to India

Samsung India has launched two new wireless charging accessories – Samsung Wireless Power Bank and Wireless Charging Duo Pad – in the country. Both of them are Qi certified and work with a wide range of Samsung and non-Samsung devices that support the Qi wireless charging standard. On the Samsung side, they work with Galaxy smartphones and wearables with support for wireless charging.

As the name suggests, the Samsung Wireless Power Bank is a power bank with a built-in wireless charging pad. It comes in a slim aluminum body and packs a 10,000mAh battery inside. It can charge two devices – one wireless and one wired – at the same time and supports Adaptive Fast Charging and Quick Charge 2.0 for both.

The Wireless Charger Duo Pad is a cheaper version of the original Duo Pad that made its global debut last year, with the cheaper variant having two horizontal charging plates instead of one vertical plate. As evident from the pictures, it’s a wireless charging pad that can charge two devices at once. It is ideal for customers who use wearables along with their smartphones as both of them can be charged wirelessly at once. It supports Fast Charge 2.0 and works with any Qi-certified device.

The Samsung Wireless Power Bank is priced at INR 3,699 (~$50) and comes in silver and pink color options. The Wireless Charger Duo Pad, on the other hand, carries a price tag of INR 5,999 (~$85) and is available in black and white colors choices. They are available for purchase across all leading retail stores, Samsung e-Shop and will soon be available on Amazon and Flipkart as well.
