'83: Ranveer Singh purchases a bat signed by Sachin Tendulkar, Wasim Akram and Vivian Richards for 2000 pounds

The actor, who will be seen portraying the role of Kapil Dev in the film, also had a fanboy moment at the event. As per reports, Ranveer purchased a bat signed by Sachin Tendulkar, Wasim Akram and Vivian Richards for a whopping 2,000 pounds. In Indian rupees, the bat would cost for approximately Rs 1.75 lakh. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film is a based on India's historic win against West Indies at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
