National Geographic’s ‘Afghan Girl’ hospitalised in Pakistan

Pakistan's foreign ministry says an Afghan lady who picked up fame in 1984 after a photo of her as a displaced person young lady was distributed on the front of National Geographic has been hospitalized in the wake of falling sick while in care.
Service representative Nafees Zakaria said on Thursday that Sharbat Gulla is being dealt with at a doctor's facility in Peshawar.
He didn't give subtle elements yet powers say the acclaimed green-looked at 'Afghan Girl' was captured for holding a fake Pakistani character card.
She has denied the charges however a Pakistani court yesterday rejected a safeguard supplication for Gulla.
War picture taker Steve McCurry, whose photo made Gulla celebrated, discovered her again in Afghanistan in 2002.
She surfaced again in 2014 in Pakistan yet sought total isolation after powers blamed her for purchasing a fake ID card.
