How pre-Aryan symbol ‘Swastika’ is older than 11000 years?

Swastika is a sacred symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism & Jainism and a symbol of ancient religion which is in the form of equilateral cross having four legs bent at 90 degrees. The name Swastika is derived from the Sanskrit word swastika which means “lucky or auspicious object”.

 
 

10 Amazing facts about symbol Swastika are as follows:
 
1. According to researchers Swastika symbol is older than Aryans and also with Indus Valley Civilisation.
 
2. As Swastika is known for its auspiciousness and is a symbol of peace and continuity, Hitler co-opted it for his twisted Aryan Supremacy theory.
 
3. Swastika is older than 11,000 years and also traced its spread to Western and Middle-Eastern civilizations.
 
4. Amazing fact is that a Ukraine Swastika is believed to date back 12,000 years to the Paleolithic Age.
 
5. During the course of discovery researchers came to know about Swastika is that the Rig Veda generally associated with Aryan civilization which is much older than it may be dating back to Pre- Harappan times in the form of Shruti and was orally handed down through the Indus valley Civilization.
 
6. In Pre-Harappa times Swastika found is most mature and geometrically ordered in the form of seals.
 
7. Around same time of Pre-Harappa, traces of Swastika was also found in the Vedas. From all these evidences researchers concluded that the Indian Civilization is far more ancient than what is written in the history books.
 
 
8. Researchers team also showed that Swastika is migrated from India through the Tartar Mongoloid route via Kamchatka to the Americas( the plethora of Swastikas in the Aztec and Mayan civilizations), and through the western land route to Finland, Scandinavia, British Highlands and Europe where the symbol is present in varying shapes of the cruciform.

 
 

9. IIT-Kharagpur and most senior professors made an effort to amalgamate ancient Indian knowledge systems with contemporary science conducted by Sandhi - HRD ministry sponsored it.
 
10. Researchers told that they have retraced the footprints from where Swastika moved from India after dividing the world into nine quadrants and have been able to graphically prove their claim through ancient seals, inscriptions, imprints etc.
 
A brief History of Swastika symbol and its importance is as follows:
 
 
- In Asia first Swastika symbol appears around 3000 BCE in the Indus Valley Civilization.
 
- It was adopted by the Nazi Party, Nazi Germany prior to World War I and II.
 
- Do you know that Swastika was a symbol of the revolving sun, infinity, or continuing creation in the Zoroastrian religion of Persia.
 
- During Mauryan Empire Swastika importance rose to Buddhism and in Hinduism, during Gupta Empire with the decline of Buddhism.
 
- Interesting is that in Thailand “Sawaddi” word means “hello” which is  used to greet people and is derived from the Sanskrit word ”Swasti” which means a combination of the words i.e prosperity, luck, security, glory and good.
 
- In Jainism, Swastika is a symbol of seventh Tirthankara and is more prominent.
 
- In Chinese, Japanese and Korean the Swastika is also a homonym of the number 10,000 and is commonly used to represent the whole creation and it is also used as an alternative symbol of sun.
 
- Swastika is used as the hooked version of Christian Cross in Christianity which is a symbol of Christ’s victory over death.
 
- In West Africa Swastika symbol is found on Ashanti gold weights and among adinkra symbols.
 
- Interesting is that the Finnish Air force used the Swastika as an emblem, introduced in 1918 etc.
