Prayas : Inter School Hindi Debate Competition

Sai Vidya Niketan, Noida organised Inter School Hindi Debate Competition on 15th December 2017. The topic of the debate which was given to participants was Adhunik Bharat " Paper Less or Cash less "

 
 

Participants in this debate contest included those from  Billabong High International School, The Shriram School, Ryan International School, Sai Vidya Niketan, Khaitan School, Amity International School, Modern Public School.
 
Participants from Modern Public School won the First Prize, Sai Vidya Niketan won the Second Prize, Khaitan School won third prize.
 
But Overall it was a tough to adjudged the performance as every participant performed very well. Special mention was also given to participants from Billabong High International School.
 
Such Competitions for school students should be organised on regular intervals in order to motivate them to overcome stage fear and showcase their talents. Debate is a sport which trains one’s analytical, critical, and quick thinking, persuasive speaking, note-taking, speed reading, and in-depth research. Debate does not only teach a person how to win an argument, but also instructs the person for a great amount of life essential skills.
