Anthony Martial recreates Cristiano Ronaldo’s magical goal scored against Fulham in 2007 – Watch Video

In Manchester United vs Fulham, Anthony Martial scored the exact same goal as Cristiano Ronaldo's goal scored against Fulham in 2007 as the Red Devils defeated Fulham 3-0 in the Premier League clash.

Manchester United continued their brilliant run as they defeated Fulham 3-0 at the Craven Cottage in the Premier League season 2018-19. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils continue their unbeaten streak since the appointment of the former Manchester United forward. The 20-time top-flight league winners extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches following their thumping win over Claudio Ranieri’s Fulham. Paul Pogba scored a brace but it was Anthony Martial, who hogged the limelight following his stunning goal, which was also Manchester United’s second of the match.

It was in the 23rd minute of the first half when Martial picked up a pass in Manchester United’s half and skipped past the entire Fulham’s midfield and defense before slotting the ball past Sergio Rico. The goal was such a piece of brilliance that Manchester United fans have started to compare it with former Red Devil - Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal against Fulham in 2007.

In fact, Ronaldo scored a sensational goal at Craven Cottage, where the current Juventus forward ran past the entire defensive line at the same ground, the same end and slotted past the goalkeeper in a similar fashion.

Meanwhile, Manchester United jumped to the fourth spot with 51 points under their belt and are now above Chelsea and Arsenal, who are yet to play in game week 26. Chelsea will face defending champions Manchester City, who are also atop the league table, while Arsenal will lock horns with Huddersfield Town.

Whereas Pogba, who scored a brace, took his Premier League goals tally to 11 as the World Cup winner continues to step up for the Red Devils since the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

The race to top four has spiced up and with the upcoming fixtures approaching fast and quick, the football fans are in for a treat in the upcoming weeks of Premier League action.
