Hero MotoCorp Achieves Guinness World Record For Creating World's Largest Motorcycle Logo
Friday, August 13, 2021 IST
Hero MotoCorp uniformly used 1,845 Hero Splendor Plus motorcycles to form the Hero logo at the company's manufacturing facility in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.
It's been 10 years since Hero MotoCorp and Honda parted ways and the Indian Motorcycle maker started its solo journey since. And now to celebrate its decade long solo journey, the company has created the largest replication of its brand's logo using one of its oldest and strongest volume generating models- the Splendor Plus. The company uniformly placed 1845 Hero Splendor Plus motorcycles to form the Hero logo at the company's manufacturing facility in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The area spread over 1000 ft. x 800 ft. was used as the canvas to create this and it has been recognised by the Guinness World Record as well, making Hero MotoCorp the only two-wheeler brand to demonstrate such a big brand logo.

Malo Le Masson, Head of Global Product Planning and Strategy, Hero MotoCorp said, "At the beginning of this year, Hero MotoCorp celebrated the landmark of 100 Million cumulative sales since inception- a record in the heart of all the Heroes. This milestone comes in 2021 which is also the 10th anniversary year of the Hero Brand logo, unveiled on 9th of August 2011 at the O2 Arena in London. So as part of our unique celebrations for the special day, we have achieved a Guinness World Records of the 'Largest motorcycle logo' to demonstrate our brand stature. This is another global record set by brand Hero, and we shall not stop there. Stay tuned for more from Hero MotoCorp!"

Hero MotoCorp also crossed 100 million units sales target in cumulative production which is one of the fastest global achievements by an automotive company. The Company kicked-off the celebrations in January 2021 when its 100 millionth motorcycle, the Xtreme 160R, was rolled-out of its manufacturing facility in Haridwar.
