Illustrious singer Kumar Sanu has quite a few achievements to his name. He bagged the Filmfare Best Male Playback Singer Award for five consecutive years and has a record to his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Kumar Sanu is the world record holder for recording 28 songs in a single day. And that record has not been broken by anyone yet. Not just that, the singer who has sung in over 30 Indian languages, has a very special honour to his name. Apparently, Sanu’s popularity cuts across continents, which compelled the mayor of Dayton, Ohio in the USA to declare March 31 as Kumar Sanu Day, a first such honour for an Indian singer.
