October first look: Varun Dhawan is running scared in Shoojit Sircar’s next, mystery unravels April 13
Bollywood star Varun Dhawan has shared the first look of his upcoming film with Shoojit Sircar, October, and the release date for the movie has also been unveiled. Banita Sandhu will be seen opposite Varun in the film that marks the first collaboration between Sircar and Dhawan.
Sharing the image on Twitter, Varun wrote, “As October comes to an end it arrives earlier next year. #October releases on 13 th April now.@ShoojitSircar @ronnielahiri @BanitaSandhu.” Varun looks quite scared and is running from something in the image.
Talking about the film, Varun had earlier said, “I am definitely happy and excited. What’s amazing about him (Shoojit) is that he is very sure about his vision. I have met him just now, so I am trying to get into that world, understand it, and the way the film is going to breathe and feel. It’s very different from anything I have done before.”
Touted to be a love story, October is written by Juhi Chaturvedi. The film went on the floors in October.
Varun was last seen in Judwaa 2 - a remake of Salman Khan’s 1997 hit Judwaa. It is already the third highest grosser of 2017, with a collection of Rs 137.8 crore in a month.
