Every Arijit Singh fan will be shocked to know what he actually feels when he listens to his own songs

Arijit Singh made a rather surprising confession at the opening ceremony of the International Film Festival Of India (IFFI) in Goa...

If you are a Arijit Singh fan then you would definitely vouch for the fact that his voice is magical and that it can melt even the heartless. Whether it's his claim to fame song Tum Hi Ho or Phir Le aaya or Kabhi Jo Badal Barse or Zaalima, every song sung by Arijit has always been high on emotions; precisely also the reason why he's one of the best singers in the industry today. However, Arijit doesn't feel the same about his songs and we wonder why...

At the opening ceremony of IFFI (International Film Festival Of India 2018), when Amit Sadh, who was hosting the event, called up Arijit on stage and asked him on how does he generate the intensity to sing such soulfully romantic songs, an amused Arijit said, "Is that a question?" Following which, Amit then decided to quiz him on whether he listens to his own songs and there... Arijit didn't think twice before saying, "I feel claustrophobic when I listen to myself." Like, why would he even say that? Say for that matter, ask him what does his wife feel about his music and he quipped. "She doesn't listen to me".

Guess this is Arijit's modesty talking or you never know, maybe he was just trying to act a little witty! But whatever be the case, this confession is surely going to take his fans aback.PS: Arijit did not perform at the ceremony but did sing a couple of lines of "Phir le aaya dil' from "Barfi".

Talking about the opening ceremony of IFFI 2018, it was attended by Union minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Goa governor Mridula Sinha, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, filmmaker Karan Johar, Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chief Prasoon Joshi and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur among others.
