When India and Pakistan come into the picture, it reminds us of an epic rivalry between these two nations in terms of sporting events. However, some beautiful places in both countries would definitely make us forget about ‘war’ and ‘enemies’.

 
 

Let’s take a look at the locations in India and Pakistan that look pretty much the same.
 
#1. Umaid Bhawan Palace, India and Noor Mahal, Pakistan
 
 
Umaid Bhawan Palace is situated in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur. The foundation was laid by Umaid Singh in the year 1929 and was completed in the year 1943. The palace has a Hotel and Museum as well. It is one of the largest private residences in the World comprising 347 rooms. Palace is covered over 26 acres of lush grounds with 15 acres of neatly maintained lush gardens.
 
On the other hand, Noor Mahal is a palace located in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Noor Mahal’s construction started in 1872 and was completed in the year 1875. Now, it’s co-owned by Sajid Ali Isar and Malik Farhan. The palace was leased to the army in the year 1971 and in 1997 the army bought it for a sum of 119 million.
 
#2. Marine Drive, India and Sea View, Pakistan
 
 
Marine Drive is a 3.6 km long Boulevard situated in South Mumbai in the city of Mumbai, India. It is well known for its Art Décor Style Architecture in the 20th century, and for its Neo-Gothic Architecture of 19th century.
 
Clifton Beach is known as Sea view. It expands from Karachi to Ormara. This beach was rated amongst the most famous and top silver sand beach in the late 20th century.
 
#3. Nubra Valley, India and Hunza Valley, Pakistan
 
 
Nubra Valley is a tri-armed valley situated in North-East of Ladhak Valley. It’s a place where one can feel or see reflections and barren mountains.
 
On the other end, Hunza is a mountainous valley located in the extreme northern part of Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan.
 
#4. Parvati Valley, India and Neelum Valley, Pakistan
 
 
Parvati Valley is located in northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Its name derived from the milky waters of the river which flows in the Parvati valley. It’s also famous among young Indians.
 
Neelum Valley is the northernmost region and district of Azad Kashmir in Pakistan. The river flows down from the Gurez Valley in India’s Jammu and Kashmir to a western region and then follows it up joining the Jhelum River in Muzaffarabad.
 
#5. Lansdowne, India and Lower Dir, Pakistan
 
 
Lansdowne is a cantonment town and a hill station in India’s Uttarakhand, situated on the Kotdwar-Pauri Road.
 
Lower Dir is situated in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

 
 

#6. Chandra Taal, India and Karambar Lake, Pakistan
 
 
Chandra Taal is a famous sweet water lake in Himachal Pradesh. This place serves as a very popular tourist destination for trekkers and campers. It is situated in the middle of Himalaya.
 
Karambar Lake is also called as Qurumbar Lake, with 3.9 km length. This lake is located in the Province of Pakistan.
 
#7. Jama Masjid, India and Badshahi Mosque, Pakistan
 
 
Jama Masjid is located in Delhi. It’s one of the largest mosques of India which was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656 AD. It is the best mosque built in India
 
On the other end of the spectrum, Badshahi Mosque was built in Mughal Era, Lahore. Badshahi Mosque has three marble domes. The mosque is almost 346 years old.
 
#8. Chandni Chowk, India and Anarkali Bazaar, Pakistan
 
 
Without any second thoughts, Chandni Chowk is one of the largest and oldest markets in the national capital. There are three bazaars namely Urdu Bazaar, Johri Bazaar and Fatehpuri Bazaar.
 
On the contrary, Anarkali Bazaar is situated in Lahore, Pakistan. It is one of the oldest markets.
