Vidya Iyer, popularly known by her stage name Vidya Vox, rose to fame with her 2017 album Kuthu Re, and particularly one song, Be Free. While she is an American resident now, Vidya was born in Chennai and moved to the US when she was eight. With 7.42 million subscribers, she earns around Rs 76 lakh/year, per Zee News.
 
2. Bhuvan Bam - BB Ki Vines
 

A popular name among Indian comedians on YouTube, Bhuvan Bam comes from Delhi, India. He gained popularity among the audience with BB ki Vines, where the 27-year-old made funny videos and played all the different characters in the videos. Today, his channel has 20.8 million subscribers. Bhuvan now also attends events, has 11 million followers on Instagram and has released a couple of songs too. Per DNA, the YouTuber and Instagrammer takes home more than Rs 10 crore annually.
 
3. Gaurav Chaudhary - Techincal Guruji 
 

Easily one of the biggest global YouTube sensations of Indian origin, Gaurav Chaudhary has not one, but two successful YT pages. In fact, the tech YouTuber, the biggest one in the world, per HT, also works with the Dubai Police Security Intelligence. His tech page, Technical Guruji has 21.6 million subscribers and close to 4,000 videos. Chaudhary also has a tech review column in HT Brunch.

 
 

4. Ajey Nagar - Carry Minati
 

Popular by his YouTuber and gaming name, Carry Minati, Nagar is one of the most popular gaming YouTubers in the country. In fact, his claim to fame was rather recent when he went on a dissing spree. He also released a diss track against Pewdiepie, one of the world’s biggest YouTubers. Minati has 32.1 million subscribers and was also part of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in April, 2020.
 
5. Sandeep Maheshwari
 
 
The world isn't short of motivational speakers, but very few make it as big as Sandeep Maheshwari. Describing himself as just another middle-class guy with an urge to learn more, Maheshwari makes motivational videos based on personal experiences and other learnings and has clearly hit the right chords with the audiences, earning himself 21 million subscribers and many crores too.
