Seen the Taimur Ali Khan doll? This is how much it costs

The doll modelled on Taimur Ali Khan is available online.

Taimur Ali Khan may not be even two years old, but his popularity is unmatched. Did you know that the tiny tot has a doll modelled on him?

After producer Ashwini Yardi took to Twitter to share a picture of a Taimur doll being sold at a toy store in Kerala, netizens went into a tizzy. They could not get over the doll's striking resemblance to Taimur.

The doll, which is manufactured by Speedage, is available online. It is selling like hot cakes on an online shopping website for baby products. Currently, they are one piece away from being sold out. Fans can buy their very own Taimur doll for a discounted price of Rs 980 (Rs 1097.60, including GST).

Saif Ali Khan had a hilarious reaction to the doll modelled on his son. When a leading daily reached out to him, he joked, "Maybe I should trademark his name... The least they could do is send me one!"

The actor has no qualms with people cashing in on Taimur's popularity. "I am glad people are benefiting from him. I only ask God for his safety and happiness in return," he said, on a serious note.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, on the other hand, said that she was speechless when she found out about the Taimur doll. Admitting that they "can't run away from his popularity", she said, "When I saw the doll, I wondered what I was supposed to say. But Saif pointed out that it's because people love him so much and such things are a blessing for him."

"There is so much of genuine warmth for our son that it's bad to stop people from clicking his pictures or making his dolls. But they should understand that he's just a two-year-old child and needs a normal life," she told a newspaper.
