Wipro's 'Performance Appraisal' Results in Sacking of 600 Employees

New Delhi: Third largest software services firm Wipro has despoiled much staff following its annual "performance appraisal".
According to sources, Wipro has shown the door to concerning 600 staff, whereas speculation was rife that the amount may go as high as a pair of2,000.
At the end of December 2016, the Bengaluru-based company had over 1.79 lakh staff.
The performance appraisal may additionally cause the separation of some staff from the corporate and these numbers vary from year to year," it added.
