Results of the Chartered Accountants Intermediate Professional Competency (IPC) Examination held in November, 2017 have been announced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), an ICAI release has stated.
Candidates can check their results on icaiexam.icai.org and icai.nic.in.
According to the release, the first rank holder in the exam is Jay Dharmendrabhai Sheth from Ahmedabad, with 530 out of 700 marks (75.71%). Susarala Aravind Jayaram from Kolkata with 526 out of 700 (75.14%) and Simran Kessar from Navi Mumbai with 521 out of 700 (74.43%) secured second and third ranks, respectively.
About 2, 13, 585 candidates were admitted to the intermediate November 2017 exams, which were held in 419 centres, the press release said. About 72,148 candidates appeared for the group 1 examination out of which 10042 or (13.92%) candidates passed. For group II exam, 65,393 candidates appeared out of which 13330 (20.38%) candidates could pass.
